I admit that I really wanted everyone to go on their ‘couples retreat’ this weekend so i could have a few quiet and peaceful days to myself. i know i was disappointed when they told me that they were not leaving me but all i wanted was a long weekend alone! I have to work all weekend, as usual! in the number of years that i have been working, i think it’s going on 6 years, i have had one long weekend off - the may long weekend 2 years ago that my brother got married on (happy aniversary by the way) so i’m used to working and i think it would be wierd to actually do something may long-ish and not work, besides i really need the money. but i found an upside to my mother having days off and staying here — we went on a little bit of a shopping spree. i’m not using the word ‘poverty’ but i am broke and was in desperate need of some new clothes, pants mainly, and my wonderful mother took me shopping. she actually bought some stuff for herself too! all in all it was a good day. she woke me up too early but i’m still alive so i can’t complain too much.

other than that i haven’t been up to too much; work, sleep, hanging out with Tammy - the usual fun stuff that we do! oh i sunburned my entire body!!! yup! thats exactly what ya’ll wanted to know! I went tanning and didn’t think much about the new bulbs cause they were changed a week ago so they shouldn’t be too bad — apparently they are and i turned out a little red. lesson learned. give me a few days and i’ll be back in the saddle (so to speak) and hopefully i will be nice and brown! Tammy is going to make fun of me for talking about tanning on here because that is all she hears about lately — how tanned i look! (so, sorry Tammy you can just ignnore that last part)

I got new pants! that’s really about it, despite what Tammy has to say! The pants are black capri’s from costco, cheap and cute. I like them and that is all that matters. I’ve been working a lot more at Marks which is good, but still no luck with the full time job search.

I think we are getting more serious about my Vegas trip. I really want to go to Vegas for my birthday theis year. If I get to go I’m not sleeping the entire time, even if I have to go to some wedding chapel and watch people get married all night — I am not sleeping!

Ok this entry was short but sweet I guess. well…..short at least!

Finally after weeks of waiting I have put up pictures!!! yes there are lots of new pictures for everyone to see. I only picked the best ones so if anyone complains that there is a ‘bad’ picture of them think about the other pictures that I left out!…….thats what I thought!!!!

We had a good time and now everyone can see!

I’d like to thank Tammy for pointing out that I do nothing all day and still manage not to write anything here! Thanx Tam!!!! she has a point though. I still have no real job. although I’m starting to pick up a few more hours here and there so i believe that soon enough i will be back to my usual busy self.

This weekend is mothers day! everyone is coming down to red deer (or so someone told me) and we are going to celebrate our mothers! as usual i asked my mother what she wanted and she said nothing, just a day with me (which is good cause thats about all i can afford right now) and as usual i have to work. but thats ok cause i figure that she has like 2 sons and 2 daughter-in-laws who can entertain her while i’m at work and really i don’t even think that she’ll notice i’m not there! and if no one else is actually here this weekend well…..then…i guess she can hang out with dad, or call her own mother. It’s wierd cause we don’t do anything really for mothers day — maybe one year we should plan a trip to the zoo or something - mom’s always like going to the zoo! (see this is why i haven’t been writting anything — I have nothing to say and I end up blabbing on until it makes no sense)

anyway i think it’s time for me to do something else — I don’t know what but I will find something to do!
