Christmas was good to me!!! I got a lot of stuff that I need to move out next year (including a milkshake maker!). It’s fun to start getting things of my own for my own place! It kinda makes me less scared - at least when I’m all alone and have no friends in the big city and can make myself a milkshake!! Brad and Karin left today! I didn’t really get to say good bye — but they know I meant to! I’ll see them in February anyway, then only 2 months after that till they move back and buy a puppy (Karin promised) Derek and Shannn also left today — didn’t say bye either - but I figure I’ll see Shannon before too long, Derek I’m not so sure about since he’s going away for work.

I have to work the next three nights then it’s new years eve! I’m getting my hair cut that morning! I’m going to cut it shorter, not super short but shorter than I have had it since grade six, and instead of highlighting it light and blond I’m gonna go for something a little darker, not too dark cause I still wanna be a blond cause we do have more fun!! That was way too much information about my hair!!! HAHAHA!!!!!!

Anyway, I hope everyone had a great Christmas and has an awesome New Years!!!!!!

It’s finally Christmas!!! I hope everyone is having a good time today at all their christmas related shinnanigans. I can’t sleep so I’ve been up for almost an hour now and i still have 2-3 hours to wait before anyone else gets here to open presents and what not! It’s not that I can’t slepp becase I’m excited it’s just cause I’ve had to work early in the morning the last three days and now I can’t sleep in (or stay up very late).

Last night after church we went to my aunt and uncle’s house. They have a one year old (megan) and a five year old (travis) and naturally Travis was just so excited because there was only one more sleep till Christmas and Santa was comming. Well Santa came for a visit about 8:30 and brought presents, Travis waws speechless! It was even better when Santa gave me a present too (cookies from Mrs. Claus). So that was fun! I’ve never seen that kid so quiet!

Now I have a couple days off from work, we go to my grandma’s for a big holiday shindig on Saturday, then I work 3 days, then I have to get all ready for new years eve! which should be fun. I don’t know what we are doing or who is all going to be there but I do know that Jenn and I will be spending it together and that means it’s bound to be a good time! Just remember what they say: HOw you spend New Years is how you are going to spend the rest of the year, so make it a good one!

Now I’m gonna go watch some “Family Guy” DVD!

Merry Christmas

As of 10:30 am this wonderful Saturday morning I was officially done this semester! Who is happy? Better yet who is proud of me?

Now I can concentrate on Christmas and relaxing and doing absolutely nothing for a while. Tammy is going to be in the Bahamas for the break. Not fair! Her and some friends are spending Christmas and New Years there, they leave Thursday and come back in January! I get to stay in Red Deer and do nothing out of the ordinary, but trust me I will still have fun!!

So I have to go to work tonite then I will probably go out and have some much deserved leisure time! Come home early tommorow morning and sleep in late then i have ti get up and do nothing! I think I might get bored.. oh well I’ll do my christmas shopping and read a little, watch some movies i’ve never seen! it should all be a very good time!

I’m just so happy that i’m finally done!

2 and 1/2 years to go!!!

ok just to let everyone know that I will be a bucket of stress over the next week. that is right, it is sunday night and I have an essay due tommorow on queer theory, and I keep mixing up homosexual and heterosexual which is pretty bad since it just changes everything. andyway I am sorry if I neglect anyone and everyone this week but I need to stay focused on the task at hand - passing my exams!

Anyway I’m taking this little break, I just got home from 5 hours at the college (I kinda got locked in!) and now I’m going back to writting this essay!

P.S. Brad and Karin my flight is booked to come visit you in February…just to warn you!!!!!

No I don’t mean Christmas, I mean the end of the semester. What does that mean? it means that with one day left of actual classes I still have one more essay to write (due next monday) and start studying. Sure that seems like nothing but if you had talked to me sunday morning it was a different story! I had one 2000 word gender essay, one 110 multiple choice take home exam, one 1000 word theory essay and one 1000 word queer theory essay to do. Now all I have to do it the queer theory essay and really, its only 1000 words! I can write that in a couple of hours (seriously). Other than that I’ve been getting no sleep because I’m either up late writting, up early writting, or can’t sleep cause all I can think is that i should be writting.

Oh well one class left, numerous study sessions, lots of coffee and sugar and a little more sleep I should be fine in about a week and a half — Dec. 13 at 10:30am to be exact!

Then I start my Christmas shopping! What does everyone want by the way (to make it easier on me Thanx)?
